This costume means alot to me since it was a comeback after a 2 year long cosplay break. Studies abroad, bachelor thesis AND working full time at the same time...I had to make priorities, but sadly I also lost my creative drive becuase I made a terrible sin. But boy, what a comeback! I'm really happy how the costume turned out and it felt great to finally make a Avatar: the last airbender costume (I love this show <3).

Ever since I attended conventions, I really wanted to try making my own costumes but never took the time to learn since I thought I couldn't do it right. But in the spring of 2013, I decided to give it a shot and the result was a uniform worn by the caroleans: the elite soldiers of Sweden in the early 18th century. Not by any means perfect, but still proud of what I accomplished on my first try.
